If water is appearing on the ceiling below your bathroom, the leak is often caused by a failed shower tray seal, a leaking waste connection, water getting behind the tiles or movement in the tray itself.
In many cases, simply resealing the edges does not fix the problem. The failed section usually needs to be removed and rebuilt properly to make the shower watertight again.
